The PS3 will be released in Japan on November 16th. It will be released in North America on November 17th. The European release will be sometime in March 2007.
The PS3 will cost $600 for the high end model, which will have a 60 gig hard drive and all the extras built in. The lower end model will cost $500 and will only have a 20 gig hard drive, you will have to buy all the extras separately.

You have to get to a store early because Sony dropped the amount of models they have due to the amount of parts that they made.
