Hiya friends,
Have published a book which is available in U.S and U.K. It is also available online. www.amazon.com and www.authorhouse.com. How could I market the same in India and how to get it reviewed in the Indian press.

What your publisher is doing. Doesnt he want to recover his cost of publication.
It will be tough task but you can select your target audience and than send the copy of your book to those newspaper who are catering to target audience. Subsequently follow it up with a press meet and reading session.
Or buy publicity space on the web and post excerpts of your book on the web in website frequented by target audience.
All the best and than your book will speak for itself

Having in mind the audience that your book might be appealing to, select well known newspapers and magazines that review books and send out copies of your book. Also, be very smart with the cover letter, that could be the difference between getting a review or no response at all. Then wait a reasonable time and do a follow up. Do not be annoying, just polite in your follow up and be prepare for a quick interview by phone or some questions.
