When somesone says that something makes them so mad "It makes their blood boil" what does that mean? What is happening to the blood stream to make it have that boiling or burning feeling and is it a major problem?

I now that your blood is not really boiling. The reason that I ask is because I got so mad the other day, it felt like my blood was boiling or burning and that strange feeling hasn't gone away yet and I was just wondering what makes someone's blood feel like it's boiling/burning and is that a problem?

it could be that you got so angry that your blood pressure went up and has not returned to normal and that is why you are still feeling funny, have your pressure checked.

Nothing is happening to their blood stream, it just means that they are very very angry that they feel all hot and they get red in the face, they are so hot if teels like their blood is boiling.

i think it's a figurative description. when someone's angry, blood seems to climb up the head: that's why an angry person's face reddens. and it feels hot, i mean, it's not cool. an angry person isn't cool. isn't keeping cool. so he seems to be boiling. dangerous

its an expression, when someone gets mad enough their face gets red and hot.
