I am both. If you can't follow, then you could never be a good leader. That is really a good question tho because a good leader has the skill of bringing out the best in his group. The leader must let his people know that the leaders job is to provide all the things that the group needs to do the job and so he really works for them. I have done this in the Army and the response was incredible. Everyone felt empowered and they all really pushed me and together our performance was great. My degree was in management and had never thought it was so great. In the Army much to my surprise, I found the approach described above to be of great value. We should continue to learn and many times the best information comes from the person at the bottom. My favorite advise to the people I managed was "THINK."

For the most part, I am a leader. I don't usually let people sway my decisions except for those closest to me.
I poured kerosene on my shadow just last week. Yesterday, it ticked me off so bad that I finally tossed in the match and burnt that jerk to a crisp. It knows I hate to be crowded!

I'm the friggin pied piper of hamlin. People go where I say go and do what I say to do and I really gotta ask my doctor to change my meds, wheeew!!!
I'm a follower by design until I learn enough and then I share with others with confidence so that's about the most leading I can do!

Leader. I'm willing to bet most people will say leader...lol yeah right I bet they are.
And remember everyone, just because you're not a follower, doesn't mean you're a leader and vice versa.
