I've never really gotten homesick. Even as a child.
When I went to my dads house (parents were seperated) I used to get mad if something wasnt going my way... so I'd say I wanted to go home. My dad mistook it for homesickness.
But that hasn't happened in a looong time.

I was probably about 11 when I could go more than one night - any age under that (starting around 8 or 9) I could make it the first night but cried the entire 2nd night

my 11 year old would leave for a week and barely miss us - I miss her when she's gone - how things have changed!!

I don't ever remember getting homesick for just a night, I was normally pretty excited to be going where ever I was headed.

i do no longer think of I ever grew to become into homesick to start with. no longer that i will bear in strategies, a minimum of. yet some human beings in simple terms on no account recover from it and constantly keep that feeling each time they do no longer look to be at homestead. there is not any longer something incorrect with that, in spite of if it may get a sprint inconvenient i assume.

probably 10 or so. My sister was like 16 before she got over it. I can't even remember how many times we'd have to go pick her up somewhere at 10:30 b/c she wanted to come home.
