How do you handle a traffic jam?

Do stick it out, or do you take back roads just to keep moving? Even though it may be the same as far as time-frame. I like to keep moving....

i've never been in a serious traffic jam but the one that i was in I sat there for 3 hours for a wreck to be cleaned up...i was getting irate b/c i couldn't move or leave the jam at all. It sucked so bad.

Stick it through as far as possible. Once my leg starts 2 shake then it's time 2 hit the gas pedal and take the side streets.

Take the back roads during real heavy traffic.

Back roads, I myself have to keep moving, can't stand sitting around.

I put in a CD, slip on my shades and smile at all the "sheep" on the road who do the 9/5er, and I thank God I have left that chapter in my life behind.

I have to keep moving or I become agitated and frustrated. My car's engine temperature guage starts rising too so thats reason enough for me.

I take back roads; I have no patience and I hate to just sit - unless I'm reading of course. ^.^
