Im not terribly interested in dropping some weight, but if I lost 10 lbs or so casually I woudlnt complain. So I have to ask.

Is it true if you drink ice-cold water, your body has to heat up and in turn burns more calories?

Not at all. The temperature of your foods or drinks has no bearing on your weight loss.

HOWEVER, drinking 8 glasses of water a day will assist in weight loss because you are not drinking sodas, lattes, juices or anything else with calories.

Water should be your primary drink.

anatomy wise it makes sense, but you are not going to lose a noticable amout of weight doing that. But I always exercise in the morings bc it colder and your body works more!
