I love the Planet Hulk storyline. I have never really been a collector of the hulk until now. I would occasionally pick up one or two issues here or there but now I see myself buying them all until Greg Pak leaves at least. They have managed to create a fresh new world with lost of interesting ideas to work with. I would highly suggest picking it up in trade if you have missed it so far. It is without a doubt better than any Hulk book I have read before. And I cant wait for World War HULK in the summer of 2007

It's actually pretty good. I enjoy seeing more of the Hulk's personality come through. The cameo by the Silver Surfer seemed a bit contrived (especially his capture), but whatever.

Does the Hulk belong on Earth during the Civil war? No way, his presence would be the catalyst that both sides are more concerned with than each other, so he's gotta be out of the picture for the immediate issues to resolve themselves.

I think it's going to turn out to be a lame recycling of the same theme that was used on the Thing on the secret wars planet-- that Banner will think he has discovered something that can turn Hulk permanently safe for humanity, only to learn when he comes back that he could have done it at any time (the old Wizard of Oz dodge) but has lost the opportunity and now he will always be the hulk. Then, when he gets back, Betty will have fallen for someone else, like Doc Samson. Same old storyline.

I think it's prettty good. It has the Hlk actually being the hulk and not Bruce Banner turning into the Hulk it's just the HULK. He's not running around acting like a moron smashing stuff.
