help! i have a creative writting essay due next week! if i dont start now ill never finish!! i have a video project for my media class too!! no creative ideas are flowing!!! help me with my block!! thank you!!

I write professionally and sometimes have a hard time getting started. The only thing that gets me started is to sit down and write something... anything. Even if I think it is crap, I'll start writing the work I need to do. Often when I go back and read it the next day, it's pretty good.
So the only thing to get me past the wall is to start the project, no matter how much that sounds unappealing.

Step away from the desk/bedroom/house. Go for a walk & write down what you see. Go do something you do everyday like brushing your teeth & create your video from everyday sights/sounds/smells/tastes or textures. Have fun & good luck
