I have included some articles on alimony and spousal suport in Pennsylvania. There are many factors that come into play with it. The whole thing is determined by the judge and no two situations are the same. The best advice is to consult with an attorney.

I live in Ohio, so I'm sure its not much different. I think it depends on how long the marriage lasted. If you were only married a few years, than it most likely enough to get you on your feet. But if you have been married many years, then alot of times I think its until you remarry. Sometimes one spouse moves up in the world while the other stays at home and takes care of the kids, and the home. So years go by without working and if ever needed a job its harder for one to get a job, when its been so long without practice. The older we get the harder it is to get a good paying job. Hope this helped!

Until the secret men's club gets the Anonymous note from your husband and they take care of business.

Just joking.

You can call a family law office and they will talk to you for free for the first visit and/or they might just answer that over the phone.
