why are Boston fans the greatest fans on earth??

why the yankees will never win another world series....because of their "devoted" fans!!

1.) balding white conservative with a beer gut screaming for his downtrodden wife to get him a cold one

2.) mouthy *** fan screaming from the stands and throwing bottles or sharp objects at players from opposing teams

3.) benchwarmers for their highschool teams who talked the loudest but never went anywhere in their dreams of glory

4.) cry and complain when George "old windbag" can't buy another world series title with his $3 billion dollar payroll

AND

5.) beats on his kids, plays bumper cars with pedestrians/other drivers, and thinks the world owes him a World Series ring.

Yankee fans need to buy yourself a New York Times and use it as toilet paper for your overhyped, overrated and overpaid team!

I'm tired of the #4 excuse. The reason the Yankees have so much money is because George knows what he's doing. Ticket prices for the Yankees in the nosebleeds are $52, for the Red Sux they're $90 (same section). What is your owner doing w/ that extra money? He's definately not spending that on keeping his players (Johnny Damon) in his dug out. The Yankees know how to treat their players, and their fans. Because the Sux win one WS in 86 years, you guys all of the sudden think you know what's going on? We boo some of our guys because we expect more out of our players. I can't believe that people are screaming for Fat Papi to be MVP when he doesn't play defense and his batting average is below .300. You've got to be kidding me. Talk about over-hyped. Both the Yanks and the Sux had a bunch of injuries this season, but you don't see the Yanks whining about that. We suck it up, and get our guys out there to play. Don't cry to us b/c we at least have a chance at the WS this year.

Actually, PoisonSoomac, the Yankees have won all of their WS titles in the last 86 years. Their first title didn't come until 1923, and they actually only won 4 World Series titles with Ruth (Yanks won in 1923, 1927, 1928, and 1932; lost in 1921, 1922, and 1926). So the score is 26 to 1.

Just more ammunition when you take on Red Sux fans.

My Dad went to a New England Patriots game once in November and late in the 3rd quarter the Patriots started to choke and all the Boston fans got upset and by this time all the hot dog vendors had hot dogs that were frozen solid from the weather so people started buying them so they could throw debris on the field.

I also learned from HBO that the Boston Red Sox were the last team in baseball to instate a black man on their roster, and this was two years after Jackie Robinson retired, and come to think of it, I don't see alot of black people at Fenway Park or the Fleetwood Centre.

If you go to the world series results you will see that the Red Sox do have six wins, however, as a franchise this is not the third most. The Athletics (both Philadelphia and Oakland) have 9 (five in Philly and four in Oakland). So I just have one word for you. BOO!!!!

Boston Fans are the most loyal fans in sports. Yankee fans when they are not winning don't show up to games, the sox fans do.

Because they KNOW the game of baseball and remain loyal to the team even during hard times. You never see Boston fans boo their players. Rather, they stand and cheer for them to encourage them to do well. I use The heroes welcome given to Gabe Kapler and to Doug Mirabelli when they returned to the Boston lineup and the tributes to Wakefield, an average .500 pitcher at his BEST. Unpredictable, great one game awful the next, Red Sox fans still cheer wildly for Wakefield. That makes them the greatest fans there are!!
