I have read that certain studies show that too many ultrasounds can result in some sort of brain damage in the baby. I'm 18 weeks and about to go for my first tomorrow. however they just said not to have unnecessary ultrasounds performed. i'm sure if it was unsafe, they would have figured it out by now. I wouldn't worry. i'm not.

Absolutely not...there is no evidence proving that ultrasounds cause any harm to a fetus. There has been over 30 different tests ran since 1992. I have had the total of 4 and my baby is fine!!

I heard too much ultrasounds can make the baby left handed.

I'm left handed but there's nothing wrong with me. That's ridiculous!
Ultrasounds are not damaging. If they were, I think they would have started using an alternative by now.

Nooooo, ultrasounds are not harmful to your baby. Studies show it's safe and that there is no evidence yet of some type of damage to you or your baby!!!

No, ultrasounds don't harm the baby. i had 6 done with my daughter. And she is fine.

There is a recent study tying ultrasounds to autism. It is inconclusive but compelling.

no. ultrasounds indicate if your child has a disorder and they determine your childs weight and length. there isnt any indications that ultrasounds are harmful.
