does anyone here knows how to make a constitution?!...for US history project?!?

is there a history teacher or professional or somebody out there than i can contact to ask how to make a constitution for a colony?!....

please.............

and also how to make laws for the colony?!......

please....anyone.......................?

First answer is correct. Here's how to think about it:

Constitution should be a short document that explains how the country should work. (The name of this country shall forever be known as ROBERT-DOD, and shall be governed by the benevoland DOD until his death, and from thereon the first born of each first born of DOD shall rule the land, and shall announce all laws through decrees announced in Court on the second Tuesday of each month).

Done.

If you want a democracy, write that. But remember, the more democratic, the more complicated the document. For example, the US constitution provides for a Senate and a House of representatives, each with a different number of members, elected in different manners.

So, if you want simple, a dictatorship would be the easiest constitution. Best of all, you can allow the dictator to change the Constitution by -- yep -- decree.

Be sure to allow the dictator to be in charge of the Army and to levy taxes, because, well, without taxes how are you going to pay the army? And if you do not control the army, you could be in real trouble

You can make this very simple if you want.
1. Define who is part of the colony
2. Define how that colony will elect its leaders
3. Define the power of those leaders (i.e. they can create laws, create taxes, etc..)
4. You could define sub-sets of leaders, i.e. one president, and a legislature of 20 people who have to work with each other to pass laws.
5. Constitutions do not have to be democratic! you could write one that makes one person leader for life.
