Actually, you would be surprised how many men love ballroom dancing. How else can I dance without a partner? Many men really enjoy ballroom because it is upbeat and something that isn't too girly, like many men would think of ballet. I do know many men who dance ballet, and some that are not gay. Men like to dance, sometimes they just don't admit it. But once they get on the dance floor and move and feel the music, they come alive!

Interestingly enough, some men that I know started to dance ballroom because they were hoping to increase their dating scores. Some were brought to it by grilfriends. But they liked ballroom so much that they stayed with dancing. Some even dated non-dancing girls after that.
When ballroom gets really serious "the future of the evening" becomes " take a shower crawl in bed very tired". LOL.

Possibly both - I met my future wife through dancing and for years we danced most nights of the week and that was Ballroom dancing. We still love it and each other...DANCE THE NIGHT AWAY!!...

As in life in general, it all depends on the man (and the woman). YES, men do enjoy dancing for its own sake. AND it is possible to get a man to ballroom dancing!!!
