well unfortunately you cant really change people. I know I've been in that situation. People are just who and how they are.
that's too bad she makes life difficult for you. Have you had a conversation with her about it?
My guess is she needs some time to grow up and not be selfish. relationships don't work very well when their isn't mutual respect.

The obvious answer, and the one you've probably already gotten from 45 other people, is to get another girlfriend. But that's too simple an answer for a situation that's probably very complex. You didn't give us any examples of what your girlfriend does to make your life a living hell. Therefore, it's hard to give you much help. Ask your question again, and provide more details. tell the itch with a B to start packing she is history
or better yet send her a card saying that there was a death in the family card but cross out family and write in friendship
if there is any kind word for the departed person cross it out with a big X and write under it this none of this fits your gone but noe of this fits you. then her name.
then refuse to see her if she comes to the house call the cops on her.

Dump her, why live in hell? You have options with your life. However, if there is a child or children involved, then you have to look towards concealing. Best of luck with the future.

Personally i would try and make hers a living hell but not to the point where she would break up with you. do this for a couple of years nonstop and then out of the blue dump her

Turn the tables on her by being so nice that it totally and completely throws her off.
Don't fight back with her and watch her reaction. She may get even more mean, but you will have fun watching her go into overdrive..

If you arent happy talk to her, tell her you arent happy, tell her what shes doing wrong, and making you sad, and if she doesnt wanna change shes not for you, move on, hopefully you find some1 better, or if you stay with her hopefully everything goes well

Pack and move out of hell.
No one is worth that kind of problem. Trust me....I just had one that was like that. Everything was a problem or hassle and she loved conflict.
It's so not worth it. Leave her in the dust my friend. She is not worth any speck of pain you suffer because of it.
