How is it possible that liberals fear Bush more than Muslims?

Bush is out of office in a couple of years. When the Muslims win the world battle, the Caliphate will be established. Here's that liberals will lose:
Gay civil union, and any thoughts of gay marriage
2 million abortions a year
Welfare
Medicare
Medicaid
Free college tuition for illegal immigrants
Freedom of Speech
Freedom of the Press
Freedom of Religion
Freedom of Association
The right to bear arms
The right to vote by women
Women having the right to drive
Women having the right to show their face
Freedom to make fun of Islam like you do Christianity. Oooops, you already lost that freedom. My bad
Freedom to put the Quran in a jar of piss. Ooooops, that's right, you wouldn't dare do that either.
Women having any rights in a divorce proceeding
Preserving ANWR. The Mullahs would drill on your mother's butthole if they could squeeze oil out of it.
Rosie on the View. The only time you would see Rosie would be hanging from the flag pole outside the tv studio.

I had a good chuckle when I read your question - and then I thought, "ya know, it certainly does seem that way at times."

I truly don't think the liberals - or at least the far left - take the Islamic terrorists seriously. God only knows what these dirt bags would have to do to get their attention.

All of your examples are pretty scary......except maybe the part about Rosie hanging from the flag pole....nah....even Rosie has a right to her demented opinions, I guess.

Bush simply poses a much greater threat to humanity than a few powerless extremists in some odd corners of the earth. In fact his policies are playing right to the hands of the extremists, and I'm sure if the terrorists got to choose, Bush would be in power. He doesn't tackle the causes, instead he goes after the interests of big business and calls that fighting terrorism, when in fact it merely brings up more support for terrorism.

In the mean time, he's limiting the freedoms of ordinary Americans, telling lies to them, ignoring international agreements, and sending the troops to kill innocent civilians and hence creating more and more hatred towards the US.

I have much more faith in the strength of my country and our people. They could never win and you know it.

What the conservatives are really doing with this line of reasoning is causing paranoia. Paranoia that will allow them brand anyone who disagrees as unpatriotic or dangerously deluded. If they get everyone so afraid that we'll lose our freedoms to muslims, then they won't mind when the Conservatives in charge undermine those self-same freedoms.

I am much more worried about the right wing erroding free speech, eliminating the separation of church and state, rolling back women's rights and racial equality, enacting a police state, spying on its own citizens, jailing people without due process of law, toturing people, and harrassing honest Americans who disagree with their policies.

The muslim extremists are powerless to do those things to you, me or any other American. Unless we do the job for them.

By the way Mr. Bill, I wouldn't doubt that a conservative Muslim Caliphate would do all the things proposed in the question. To suggest that such an outcome is at all probable is ridiculously stupid at best and an outright lie at worst. The threat of Right Wing Americans on those rights, however, is very very real.

I notice the liberals don't even try to refute your claims. Most prefer insults or ad hominem attacks. The closest was Skippy who tried to set up some "straw dogs" to justify opposing anyone who takes the Islamofascist threat seriously.
Admittedly, the Bush Administration has made some less than ideal choices in fighting the threat, but that's because he's human. Overall, I'd rather have his mistakes than anything the liberals propose.

But they are willing to throw that away to get one last victory, the last time they won anything was when they lost the Vietnam was for the USA.
