to know when to hold your mouth is a true gift...and I try to strain some thingss and other times I just let it fly!

The words just flow, like a river. There's no dam, much less a strainer. Gets me in trouble sometimes. I've always been told my honesty is refreshing, but that I needed to learn some tact. Maybe I will one day. That is, if you can teach a woman in her prime new tricks!! HAHA

You wouldn't believe how many times I've encountered this scenario, which I think will help you understand my situation.
Did you ever form words that sounded good in your head, then start to say them, and somewhere in between, you realized too late how bad they were going to sound and how deep a hole they were going to dig you into? It's kind of like they're flying out of your mouth and you just can't stop them fast enough.
That's how it is for me. So no, no strainer. And sometimes I really could use one.

I've tried to refine my need to say whatever I want with, not so much restraint, but carefully chosen words! If that doesn't work, then I just start with the wit and charm so I can get away with it!

Usually, I try to watch what I say, but sometimes stupid words just slip from my mouth.

I have an Irish temper and an Italian mouth so I don't hold back too often.

I do my best to watch what I say.
It's very rare for me to just let stuff fly out.
I try to say what I have to say without hurting anyone's feelings.
