True love is when you are able to look at the persons' good and bad qualities day in and day out and still want to be with them, still want to have and hold a relationship with them. When you disagree, which happens in all healthy relationships, you manage to still find a part of you which has compassion for that person. It's when you love a person regardless of how they look when they wake up, even if they gain or lose a few or a lot of pounds. Love, in my opinion is a choice, we choose to love and choose not to love.

True love to me, is when you know a person...not just know their name...but you know their heart, their soul, and their capabilities. You know the whole and real them, and you still accept them. You know their good and their bad. You know their past and their present. When you see them you get those butterflies in your stomach, but it's more than that. It's like you want the moment to last forever when the remote is stuck on fast-forward. You try to soak up the moment while you can but it seems like only a second before it's too late and they're gone. True love is remembering their smile, scent, and laughter even when they're not around. And trying to memorize it again while they are. True love is when you feel like your heart is going to leap out of your chest and wonder later why it didn't. The Bible says that 'Love is Patient, Love is kind, It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud, it is not rude, it is not self seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, and always perserveres. Love never fails' That's what I believe true love is and should be.

true love to me is when every time u see them no matter how long uv been together even 5 to 40 years u get butterflys and u can trust them with anything and u know they LOvE more than anything in the world and i mean that

true love is what you make of it.to me it laying in bed at night and watch your mate while they sleep.true love is wondering how you could love someone has much as you do.it is when your mate touches you and chills go up your spine.true love is telling someone you love them when you wake up in the moring and when you go to bed at night.no matter how mad me and my husband get at one and other we always tell each other i love you before we leave because you never know what will happen.
