Then slove h(3m)

I really don't get this with the M.

h(x) = 5x^2 - 2x

h(3m) = 5(3m)^2 - 2(3m)
h(3m) = 5(9m^2) - 6m
h(3m) = 45m^2 - 6m

You write h(x) = 5 * 2 (squared) - 2x. I will assume that you mean to say 5 * 4 = 20 - 2x. Or h(x) = 2 * (10 - x). You aren't very clear in your notation. Solve for h(3m) means substituting 3m for x in the original equation, whatever it is. h(3m) = 2 * (10 - 3m) = 20 - 6m;
h(3m) = 20 -6m. -

Just substitute the 3m for the x:

h(3m) = 5x2(squared) - 2(3m)
h(3m) = 5x4 - 6m
h(3m) = 20 - 6m

i am doin this stuff in my algebra 2 class 2....h(x)=5(3m)4(2squared)-2(3m)......u multiply 5 times 3m which equals 15m(4)-2 times 3m which equals 6m........h(x)=15m(4)-6m ..........
15m(4)= 60m-6m.......h(x)=54m.....i think thats rite and if confused u sry...i think that is rite though

first check if da q's right.....or else try this.....
h(X)=5x4-2X 2(squared is four righ...is it that squared or does it mean sumthin else)
h(X)=20-2X OK
now u wanna find h(3m) which means 3m=X got that
h(3m)=20-2(3m)=20-6m.....
well this is wat i think is da righ answer pls contact me if u hv ne doubts with this prob
If the answer is wrong....im sorry i tried...im frm india....
