I know how this ( http://petrix.com/magic/magic1.htm ) works but how does this ( http://www.mysticalball.com/ ) work? So basically what's the trick to it.

Essentially, there's a very small list of possible answers. Most of the numbers can't possibly be arrived at. Each time you reload the page, the symbol for those possible numbers will be different, but they will all have the same symbol.

Its a math trick combined with them changing the symbol to make it appear to magical. Do it but don't click the try again button and study the numbers and symbols. Notice the pattern.
Every number you pick in the 90's will give you 81 as the answer.
Every number you pick in the 80's will give you 72 as the answer. Every number in the 70's will give you 63 for the answer and so on and so on. Now when you click the try again button the magic symbol changes but it is always placed next to the key numbers.

that one guy had a interesting/confusing point about the magic ball. and dont realyl understand it. but i figured out the card one ez

they simple keep the same numbers but change the suits, all of the last cards dont match the origanal cards, then they pick one randomly to be kept out. so basicaly all the cards are taken out, just simple study it for a lil bit =)
