I answered someone's question yesterday about that, and in a nutshell, it is a very bad thing in my opinion. My first question would be, what the heck are you proud of? If you are proud of Your own accomplishments as a human. Fine. But, prideful of a past that used wickedness and slickness to dominate? Noooooo way.
By the way, I appreciate you asking honestly about White pride.

I don't think it's wrong to have pride in your heritage, as long as you are not judging anyone based upon race. However the KKK is a group of incompetent people who need to get a life. They are a bunch of worthless @$s people who don't deserve to be a part of society. Having anything to do with the KKK is retarded. So I think its okay to be proud of who you are but also respect others for who they are and where they came from. Don't start acting like a member of the KKK!

White Pride is not bad. It's the media that has chosen to portray anyone that shows pride in being white as members of the KKK etc. What about the "Black Panthers"? Violent black power group. What about "La Raza"? Violent hispanic power group. For some reason we don't hear too much about them. Makes you wonder.

You should be proud to be white. It's unfortunate that the term "white pride" is associated in people's minds with the KKK and violence etc., which I do not support. But if you hear a colored person say they have "black pride" noone is going to say a negative word to them -- it isn't politically correct. White people are FAN-freakin-TASTIC. You go right on ahead and be proud to be a white girl.

yea it's bad being associated with KKK and white supremacist but there's nothing wrong with taking pride in ones race i don't think it's racists until you start hating on other groups not of the white descent you know???but there's nothing wrong to me with being prideful of your race just keep an open mind

hhmmm you should be proud of yourself and where you come from. Thinking that you are better than someone else because of it is something different. Trying to put other ppl down to build yourself up shows you arent really that proud anyway. If you look at where most of the ppl in groups like that come from and who they recruit it shows they arent really proud of themselves.
On another note I think that the black muslims and the KKK are different. But at the sometime, noone should be preaching hate or superiority

I see no problem with it. Altho I wish I could celebrate the first of the month and get a present from the government due to my extreme hardship and inablility to find a job, when its reality its pure laziness and a $400 a week crack habit. Thumbs down to those who leech the system. Its there for those who need it, not the parasites that are 90% of the people on it.

I'm white and proud to be white. I am completely against the KKK, skinheads, etc. I dont understand why it's bad to be proud of your race if you're white, but it's encouraged in all the other races.

That's not pride, that's racism.
A lot of white people do take pride in their heritages. We speak of being proud to be Irish, Italian, Russian, etc. That's the good kind of white pride.
The other "pride" movements come about because minorities are told all their lives that they should be ashamed of being what they are.

Nothing at all wrong with it. Especially if its ok for other races. It only makes it equal. Really what have other races contributed to the world? Absolutely nothing!!! Whites have only invented and discovered everything in the world, if we didn't dinvent it we furthered it to a higher level..medicine, space travel, technology, mechanics, engineering, math, science, agriculture etc, all gifts to the world frm the white man. I say if anybody should have racial pride it should be whites. All that oppression crap is just another excuse.
I know GW Carver did some great agricultural work with the sweet potato but one man cant make up for the ignorance of an entire race.
