are continuously telling dumb jokes that are not funny. My boyfriend also tells me lame jokes that are not funny and I have to try to laugh even though there are not funny. How do you politely get them to stop? Sometimes I wonder how they think that stuff up.

My boyfriend used to tell me some of the stupidest jokes. I just didn't laugh, I just would look at him. He soon figured out I didn't find his jokes funny and he quit telling them.

Just tell him that you are not a big fan of jokes. Or maybe you can just let him tell you them, and not laugh. Maybe then he will get it.

tell him that the only way you are going to laugh at his jokes is if he tickles you at the same time. hopefully this will enable him to get the hint.
