Are tampons the only choice, My friend said that u don't wear a tampon or a pad into the pool U don't bleed. is that true?

Yes you can swim, but you will need to wear a tampon. A pad would absorb the water from the pool (it will look horrible, not work, and possibly fall out, total embarrassment!). And yes you still menstruate even while in the water.

You need to wear a tampon, because the water you swim in thins out the fluids and you could end up a real mess.

hay i havent heard that your period will stop while you are swimming so to be on the safe side i would definitely wear a tampon so i wouldnt look crazy swimming

yes. if you are on your period and go swimming your period will stop while in the water i think.
But its not good for you. because of bacteria and stuff that goes in because owhile on your period that area is more sensitive and open.
