so i had a usb mouse installed and i took it out and plugged in a normal mose and it forze was taking out the usb mosue wut made it freeze should i shut down the computer everytime i install some thing new like a keyoard or mouse and close it when i am uninstalling the stuff to thank u

It is best to restart the system afer installing or,uninstalling programs.

The answer is yes. You should shut down or log off of windows everytime you take out or change your keyboard or mouse.
I blame windows plug and play.

Hi. Your computer looks for installed hardware every time it boots, but although USB mouse is "hot swappable" the serial mouse is not.

When installing non-usb keyboards or mice it is best to turn the computer off first.

yea eventally a computer will do that no need to fear it will be okay *the computer i mean n da mouse did it n u dont ave to do it everytime i ean shut it own just be carefull back there

Whenever that happens to me, I just jam the keyboard with my face. 9/10 times it works for me, I strongly suggest you try this.
