I've heard of vomitting, upset stomach, dizziness. Do these signs show up everytime a girl gets pregnant or just sometimes with only some girls? If these signs actually did occur, how long ago did she become impregnated ( two or three days before or last week)? If the girl is pregnant after showing symptoms, can she still take the day-after pill or is there any way to stop the pregnancy without having an abortion?

A positive pregnancy test is the only way to determine that a woman is pregnant. All other symptoms could be caused by other things and are not definitive in determining pregnancy. There is no way to end a pregnancy without having a legal or illegal abortion. The morning after pill or plan b does not cause abortions nor will taking a large amount of birth control pills. If you or someone you know could be pregnant, you have to go to the doctor now and quickly. The longer someone is pregnant the fewer options they have.

Personally, this is what I felt:
1. car sickness/motion sickness when you don't usually get it (about a week after conception)
2. Breast swelling and very tender (about several days after conception)
3. extreme tiredness, even when i have not done anything physical (again, several days after conception)
4. Obviously, missed period.

I knew from the moment of conception that I was pregnant, it was planned and I was off the pill pretty much the month before.
Unfortunately, the morning-after pill (which is like a month's dose of the Pill) can only be effective for 72 hours after conception. After that, abortion is pretty much the only way out. Then again, 1 in 10 pregnancies ended up being miscarriage as the first 3 months is the most dangerous period.
Like what everyone said, go and see your Doctor and s/he will be able to give you the appropriate advise.
Good luck and best wishes.

Every woman is different. The most common sign that a woman may be pregnant is if her monthly stops. The day after pill is a pill you take the day after you have sex - not the day after you find out you're pregnant- symptoms of pregnancy can start showing up days after conception. If you think you may be pregnant you can go to a walk in clinic- even if you are underage you are not required to have a parent with you and they are required to give you a pregnancy test- They will have a lot of helpful info for you. But whatever you do, don't try to handle this on your own tell some one.

All women are different. Not everyone gets sick or shows any signs at all. Also, it would take a little longer than that for the signs to show up. I would not take a day after pill if it has been over 72 hrs. If you do then the baby could live and the baby would be deformed. The only way now is to go get an abortion or medical abortion(a set of pills that makes you abort the baby.)

It is not possible to know that early. Ask at the pharmacy when it is possible to have a test done. Some women claim that they felt immediately when they got pregnant as the brests got swollen.

There are many signs and symptoms of pregnancy. These can include:
missing a period, increased tiredness, urinating more frequently
feeling sick to your stomach

If you had unprotected sex more than a week ago and you think you might be pregnant, it is important to get a pregnancy test done as soon as possible (after your period is late). You can get a home pregnancy test at a drugstore or you can go to your doctor’s office, a Planned Parenthood office or a clinic to have a pregnancy test done. It is usually best to wait until your period is a week late before taking a pregnancy test. If a test is taken too early, you may not get an accurate result.

If you are feeling symptoms of pregnancy, it is way too late to be taking the morning after pill. The morning after pill is for the morning after. Symptoms may not show up for weeks.

Go to a doctor...abortion should NOT be an option....tell your friend to stop having sex...then she won't have any worries like this!

well, vomiting in the morning is one good symptom. also, the girl easily gets irritated. and her tummy must grow bigger, but that happens very gradually.
