when a child of divorced parents gets angry, should they be allowed to say that they want to stay with the other parent because they are in trouble at home

No. When the parents are divorced, I don't think the child is allowed to act as if they have a backup parent. One parent is the caregiver and the other parent is just a visitor. If the child has problems with the caregiver, it would be unethical of the other parent to take the child in. The child can leave home, but it is not allowed to run to the other parent.

Sometimes it's a good thing if they go to the other parents for awhile to allow for some cooling off time. If they are over the age of 13 then I believe they do have the right to decide which parent they want to live with.

kidss alwayss hate their parents and love their parentss


if the parent has done something that the child would still want to not live with that parent and move in with the OTHER parent at the age of like 16 thenn yea...they should be allowed too

but if it's becuz their mad that their mom wouldn't let him finish watching barney?

No, parents should not use their children to play one against the other and neither should children do the same. Take the punishment and love your parents you only have one set.
