You can use any browser that you want to. I am running IE and i'm on att yahoo. i use both internet explorer and mozilla firefox. you can use any browser you want to. Att yahoo account is just a means to sign in with these browsers to allow them to function. it doesn't matter who the service provider is you can use whatever browser you prefer.

Assuming you have WinXP, Go to Start>Set Program Access and Defaults, open the custom section, choose att yahoo from the menu, and then click ok.

Internet Explorer is the name of the program (called a browser) that lets you see web pages.

Yahoo.com is the name of the web site your browser is displaying.

because At&t is your provider--the one that gives you access to the service, IE is a browser--software that allows you to navigate the internet, yahoo is one portal in the internet--a point of entry if you will.
