Time after Time scared the heck out of me. And I liked Silence of the Lambs.

Psychological:THE UGLY. An outstanding movie if you can find it. It's about a serial killer in New Zealand whose victims ghosts come back to urge him to keep killing.
Horror:I love horror so much I can't even put my finger on one I love more than another.I will say that the ending in the 1975 occult thriller THE DEVIL'S RAIN is probably the best climax of any horror movie ever (Starring Ernest Borgnine, William Shatner and the late Dr Anton Szandor Lavey-real life High priest of the church of Satan-making a cameo appearance and serves as technical advisor).

The only movie to actually scare the bujeebers out of me while I was watching it was The Shining. Jack Nicholson is one scary fella.
But, I do have to admit that the first time I watched the Silence of the Lambs it got waaaay into my head and I had nightmares. Weird thing was I thought I was fine all through the movie. It didn't hit me until I went to sleep. Creepy.

The Japanese ones are the best!
Anything by Stephen King. Or Tales From the Crypt- I love the adrenaline rush! And I always end up laughing.

I was very surprised when The Ring kept me in suspense. Not many movies do that, not even Hitchcock. It was creepy.
