I'm going to the movies with some friends, and my blind date, and I have no idea what to wear. I'm planning to just wear a t-shirt and jeans with some flip flops, but my friends suggested that I at least dress it up with some stilettos. But I don't know why that'd be useful when you're just going to be sitting and staring at an oversize T.V. screen for two hours

Well, I think what you're planning to do is too laid back and what your friends want you too do is too much. I suggest something in between like a lace camisole, cardigan, jeans, and ballet flats. This is neat and modest, it will make a great impression on your blind date. Good luck!!

A t-shirt and jeans sound ok. Maybe instead of flip-flops or stilettos wear either low heels or cute flats. Maybe take a cute sweater since it might get cold in the theater.

Why not wear nice jeans with a little dressier top and short boots. I think it's a little late in the season for flip flops, even in Phoenix.

flip flops are messy. I wear them to the grocery store not to meet my potential mate. Just be yourself though if you feel at home in flip fkops and feel you look good then wear them. You will project the wrong image if you are not comfortable. Good luck, blind dates are fun. Lip gloss is always nice, it's shimmery effect will stand out at the theatre.

i think ur friends r rite. even tho u may be staring a TV screen for 2 hours, u still want to look nice for before and after the movie. wear a cute t-shirt, nice jeans, and high heels that match ur shirt. its not that dressy, but it's stylish.

Something he would remind for the rest of the night after you leave. try not to be so hot and so cute but nice. Wear a dress and hills. Soft make up ans a simple hair done.

Wear a skirt and a plain t-shirt with flip flops. and wear eye liner with eye shadow that matches with your shirt and clear lip gloss and his heart will just melt when he sees' you.
