OK I have a question.. about taking a bath in Everclear?
Would I get drunk if I bathed in Everclear? What about champagne? My girlfriend is trying to think of a new way to get drunk. Will this work?

i have heard of getting alcohol poisoning from using alcohol to clean a large wound, because the alcohol is going straight into your bloodstream and not being filtered internally. i bet you would get drunk if you bathed in everclear, because all kinds of chemicals get absorbed by your skin. but i would do some more research before trying it. if you absorbed it through your skin, how long would it take to get through your liver? plus, it might seriously mess up your skin. Champagne would probably be safe.
But I would suggest to you and your girlfriend, there is such a plethora of amazing mixed drinks and wines available to try, that surely there is a better option. have you tried a flaming shot of sambuca?

Not much. You might want to try rubbing a bunch of it on your tender parts before you take the plunge. I think you will not enjoy the experience.
Think about what alcohol on a wound feels like. . . that is what saturating your skin with the stuff would feel like if you can get it in that way.
That said, some people get drunk (and some subset of these people OD and die this way) with alcoholic enemas. I gather the uptake of alcohol by the colon/large intestine is near instantaneous. I suspect that would burn too, unless you use a diluted form.
Proceed with such a "game" VERY carefully. Your body cannot use something like vomiting to reduce the intake of alcohol injested this way, so it becomes much easier to consume a fatal amount.
A quick google search reveals a lot of hits on this topic.
I suppose a good way to start would be to estimate the mass of your blood, use doses that contain roughly .05% (1/2000th) that mass in alcohol. So if you have 190 ounces of blood (6 quarts) in your body then you want to injest only 1/10th of an ounce of alcohol this way. Roughly, that would be a half a glass of ordinary wine. (The same dose of 190 proof everclear could be nearly fatal in a full sized adult male.) Wait a half hour and repeat. You'll figure out what it takes. This is somewhat conservative, but better safe than sorry when playing games with your life.
I advise you have someone sober administering and recording how much has gone in. You DON'T want to make a mistake.

No you would not get drunk from the bathing in it however you would probably get a high from the inhelation of the alcohol vapors. If you were bathing in pure everclear I think its likely that you would be overcome with the smell and have a headache before you got intoxicated. It would probably burn your eyes and genitalia as well as any cuts or scrapes. If you want new ways to get drunk go for an enima it will absorb through them membranes in your intestine and gets into the blood stream much faster however your tolerance is much less. So go easy you would want to do a little research on absorption rates nad body mass before doing it so you dont over do it.

I doubt you'd get drunk - damn though - if you've got a bottle of grain alcohol (everclear), two or three shots will do ya.
Here's my secret favorite grain drink from high school - since grain KILLS going down, sip Dr. Pepper, slam the grain, follow with a looooooooong swallow of Dr. Pepper. It'll burn a little, but it goes down a LOT easier. It's called the Chrissy Slammer. Highly recommended. Warning: more than 4 might put you in the hospital with alcohol poisoning and NO ONE WANTS THAT.
Be careful. Bathing in alcohol is alcohol abuse. Just drink it.

Take a wine enema. Just be very careful, it's powerful that way, absorbs through the intestine.
