Hello Kristin. I think your coach has to make decisions that are tough, and that you should accept his decisions because you are on the team - not because coach is right (coach may be wrong).
It's fine that you feel that coach was unfair, and fine that you vent some privately. And coach may be both wrong and unfair - but coach is coach. Teams win by pulling together.
So think also of your team. If you truly want to be on the team, suck it in and do as the coach wishes, not for coach but for the team. My guess is that coach will pick up on your team attitude, so will the other team players, and your play will improve.
Next thing you know, the whole team plays better, and you play more too.
One more thing. Life is not fair. Period. Try to make the best of situations you are subjected to - as my son did. He died of brain cancer, but he made the best of his life, in a VERY unfair situation. You can live that way too.
Good luck!

Well, firstly, try to type properly so that we understand you. From what I do understand you feel that you have been treated unfairly by your coach. You missed a match you were supposed to attend and now are not allowed to play for your own team, whereas others have missed matches and were let off.
Now, either we're missing part of the story or your coach has been unfair. I disagree with what he has done. However, this doesn't mean he's deliberately picking on you, sometimes people's attentions pick up certain things and completely miss other mistakes.
Maybe the other girls did something that you didn't do--explain beforehand, apologise...? I suggest that in future you do both before missing a match, it reflects better on you as a person.
Right now you ought to catch your coach privately and speak to him. Be polite, don't make out that he's being unfair, just tell him about how you feel and ask to be allowed to play because it's what you love. And if he refuses, in my opinion, stick around if you aren't sure he means it, but if he does, then quit; it's not worth your time.
Good luck.

It is just one game. You knew what your were supposed to do and you did not do it. It does not matter what the other people were supposed to do and what the result was. Let this one go... Go to practice and do everything that is asked of you including attending varsity matches. If you do not get to play again then make an appointment to talk with the coach, athletic director and the school head master or principal.

You can't really do anything, though that is an unfair rule, next game you should be able to play. And if not maybe you should bring it to the athletic director in your school and see what the official rules on that kind of thing are. Perhaps you will be guaranteed playing in the next game.

your coach is a screw ball demand a game if he/she says no then ask him/her why you have to practice if he/she is never going to let you play, he/she will ignore you by this point ask him/her if he knows that soccer is for kids to enjoy themselves in a team sport and that everyone that comes to practice should get a game and remind him/her that being a coach it to teach people not to ignore people

maybe you can talk to your coach and ask them what exactly is going on and explain to your coach that you think you've been treated unfairly.
if your coach doesn't do anything about it, then my advice to you would be to just tolerate it and be thankful you are apart of the team of such an amazing sport :)

You might want to talk to your coach about this in private.
Only he can give you the exact reason why.
