Omg... the answer above me i actually couldn't read... What i think you should do is keep playing the sport with the league you're in and maybe look around for other teams who want people over 18 that are maybe look for 18-28 range or something like that, so that they are all as young and fit as you. Plus if they foul you say something to the ref, if they do it again they should get a yellow card, and maybe it will stop.

No, you are not too young nor old. Don't pay attention to these other players. They are either jealous that you are so energetic, I would say even more active than them or they don't like you. But continue playing, just don't listen to them, pay attention to what the coach tells you. For me, to play in a league at the age of 18 is great. You know there are more younger player than you. Theo Walcott, I think he's only 17 and he's playing in Arsenal. You see, just play like you used to and don't care about these older players when they acts foolishly. I just wish you good lucks and hope you become a really good soccer player!!!

Don't dribble the ball so much. If someone consistently dribbles past defenders, people (especially adults) will foul you all day long. When defenders are coming at you hard, if you keep the ball you will get killed. A rule defenders live by: You can let the ball behind you; you can let the man behind you, but never both. And you are right, they will break bones if you try to dribble them constantly.

oh course not, look i played soccer from 4-18 and had a blast, soccer can be a rough game especially to new people, don't let them get the best of you, if you use skill and they use strength outwit them and make them pay, i would assume you can take some abuse as soccer will dish some out, just don't let them make you feel like you should'nt be there, make them respect you!

no you're not too young. if you can keep up with that pace and that aggressiveness, then I think you'll be fine. once you get used to playing with the older guys i'm sure you will have no problem displaying your "youthful" talent :)

Toughen yourself up. If you can't, you need to know how to avoid the challenges.
If you can't do either, better to drop a level or you may see your career cut short by multiple injuries.

welcome to adult soccer, you think your dribbling, they think your trying to take the piss out of them, your young and faster, they are older and wiser, simple rules all defenders live by, 1) young fast player, test him out with the 1st tackle take his legs out in the middle of the Field, tell him the next time you will break them, if he shrugs it off and comes back with a hard tackle himself, you back off slightly, if he cowers, then defending will be easy for the rest of the game
