Its pretty good, easy to go about, its not so small or too humungous either. Has good selection of fast food outlets. Hasnt got too many flight counters to confuse you, all in all good one for a domestic flight, even international, but dunno if we can fly international from there. Just that theres a long distance between the main airport building to the the CTA-that is if you using the CTA.

Midway was remodeled just a few years ago. It is small, easy to get around. Parking can be a hassle since almost all is off the airport and you have to allow time to take the shuttle. However, Metra runs to the airport.

I would not call MDW small, although it is a midget compared to O'Hare. MDW was the world's busiest airport before ORD and is located inside the city with neighborhoods around it. It is 1 sq mile in size and has been renovated in the past few years. It has all the conveniences you would expect to find on your layover to CUN.

It is a small airport, easy to find your way around. It has been remodeled. It is much easier to get in and out of than O'hare and closer to downtown if that's where you are going.
