why does the fashion industry not consider the show a a fashion powerhouse? are they jelous???

It's a specialty show for one store, and only one type of clothing. It's not a fashion show that models the different designer's clothing in all types of clothing. V.S. is all about the underwear.
It has also taken a lot of criticism from people about it being televised. The people that object to it say that it is even worse than traditional fashion shows. Besides the thin models, these women aren't dressed. They are in their bras and panties, so it gives the young girls an even worse impression about how women should look. They claim that it's degrading and turns women into sexual objects.
I say they are full of it. Why in the world would you let your young child watch a show that comes on that late at night where the women are almost nude? It's a show for the adult women who shop there, not a show about new fashion trends. I love the Victoria's Secret store, and I shop there all the time.
