Hi. The vacuum tube has three internal components, but look at two of them first, the emitter and the collector. If the emitter (called a cathode in a tube) is hot enough, electrons boil off it's surface and are collected on the collector plate. Electrons only move from the cathode (think of a hot wire) to the collector (think of a cold plate) and not the other way around. In this configuration the tube acts like a diode. If you add a grid (think of a screen) between the two and apply a voltage then the grid blocks the flow of electrons. A small VOLTAGE applied to the grid blocks a high CURRENT of electrons. In this way the tube can act as an amplifier. Hope this gets you started!

The structure of the vacuum tube by inner glass tube, solar selective coated surface, vacuum sandwich, cover glass tube, supporting pieces (spring clip), getter and other .Inner tubes works for the flow of water within the pipes,The inner tube absorbs sunlight first and converts to heat energy, and then conveys energy to the liquid in inner tubes. The coated reflector inside outer tube can reflect the sunshine to heat inner tube which conentrate the heat and sunshine to inner tube to improve the heat effciency.

the vacuum tube aborb the sunshine by sputtered solar selective surface and transform the sunshine to heat energy. the vacumm tube is made of two borosilicate glass tube with high chemical and thermal shock resistance. the outer side of the inner tube is coated with a sputtered solar selective surface. the inner tube is closed at one end and sealed at the other end to the outer tube. the anular space between the outer tube and inner tube is evacuated to vitually eliminate heat loss by construction and convetion.
