It's just some nameless telemarketing company that found a devious way to bypass the new laws requiring all telemarketing companies to display caller ID. Of course, there's probably no way to trace it after the fact, but if they can be found, they'd be facing some pretty steep penalties from the FCC. In fact, they'd probably get shut down altogether.

I suggest this service: http://phonedetectives.co - The best reverse cell phone lookup service.

It's a cheap service that works great! It could be used for a much deeper search. You can use it to get hold of different varieties of background reports, and in addition cell numbers, addresses and names.. you can get unlimited reports... I ran with this because I required to verify more numbers.

You can get the name, other phone number, address history, relatives, and much more about anyone! The completly free reverse phone lookup generally doesn't provide anything interesting. To get interesting information, money will must be paid. The free searches don't provide considerably more than what may be found through the phone directory or personal information and they simply require your email to send spam. The reverse phone detective search tool does work, but you should use just the service that I posted above. The last thing you want to do, is pay for a service and find the numbers you want to lookup are not available in their directory.

The service that I reccomend doesn't have any kind of problem , you won't get any bad surprise! Trust it!

Reverse Phone Lookup area gives you additional access to millions of public records, including:

+ Find out the source of a harassing ("prank") caller
+ Research a number that appeared on your phone bill

I just received a call from a company saying they wanted to tell me about new updates
that needed to be put on my data credit card machine. Said they were supposed to be mailed out but they had a glitch in the computer so they didn't get mailed out so that is why she is calling. I started asking questions and she said just a second & she would give me a part # I needed. Then her copmuter wasn't working probably so she would have to call back. I didn't see the phone # until I hung up.

that is not an actual ANI number. 000 is not an actual exchange so it will not let you as a normal person use it. most likely its cutting you off after the first couple of numbers and pushing you to a long distance carrier or calling card service.

Use a reverse phone lookup to:
Get the identity of an unknown caller.
Identify an area code.

I haven't gotten that kind of call, but if I did I'd ignore it and so should you. Don't let it bother you too much unless you're waiting for someone to call you whom you don't have an idea what kind of number would come up on your caller id.

I just got the same call from someone so into India that I had to have her repeat three times. Her scam was that my computer was sending lots of error messages and she could help. I should have asked who was receiving the error messages. Then she asked if I was in front of the computer. I said I was outside and stopped the call there. Hope no one downloads any junk from this call.
