These little guys are just annoying. They are grey and roll up when you touch them. Does anyone know what I'm talking about, if so do you know how to get rid of them?

Go to Home depot and in the garden section of the place you will find insecticide. On the back of each bag it will tell you what kind of insect it is aimed for and how to use it. Those lil grey bastards wont stand a chance.

I sure do know what you're talking about. I thought it was just my kids that called them that. I don't like them (as if I liked any insect besides lady bugs) but they are all right. I wonder what was the origins of that name "roly polies". Unfortunately, I can't help you on your answer.

P.S. What a hoot! I love the answer to exercise. That is a totally different roly poly. lol

Rolly pollies, sometimes called potato bugs, officially called a woodlouse. They're a nuissance. They infest my garden, too.

Here's what I do: I put out--overnight--a square of potato (a potato that has been peeled and cut into a block shape) near by where they are eating my radishes. Then I fill a bucket with water. Come morning, the potato is crawling with the buggres. I pick the potato--bugs and all--and deposit it in the bucket. The bugs die, I fish out the potato and repeat the process each night until there are no more bugs. Then I put the water with all the dead bugs in the compost bin.

Feel free to modify the procedure to fit your needs. Good luck!

They're completely benign. Why would you want to get of them?
