Even the murderer's motive is the main reason, and guns are just a means, it takes time to alter the culture

Both sides have their point... but the easy access to guns triggers the slaughter which wouldn't have happened otherwise and we can see the huge casualty in tens of seconds as a result of using a gun so handy

Yes. Look at Australia. They had a gun buy back scheme, and the gun laws are very tight. This was done after the Port Arthur massacre where 30 people were killed by a crazy with guns. So crimes with guns is very low now in Australia, however the number of stabbings has increased.

The "guns don't kill people argument" is stupid. Clearly, guns DO kill people. If you have gun control laws then it is much harder for the average person to obtain a gun, and so people won't reach for their gun as first resort when they think they need it. In addition, it is harder for children to obtain a gun and inadvertantly fire it and injure themselves or others.

Well for Pete's sake thats so silly can a gun or weapon pull it's own trigger? Guns and weapons don't kill people- people kill people. Should I repeat this in case you missed the obvious?
Not to be mean but to help with your life learned lessons and education:
GUNS DON'T KILL PEOPLE-PEOPLE KILL PEOPLE!!!!

There are laws against drugs, alchol, driving but still people kill other people with all the above so where is the point?

i think reducing the number of crazy people is a better option... if i'm crazy and i can get a gun, cool.. if i cant, i'd still kill someone, just through some other means. crazy people are the problem... not guns.

yes i agree because all types of crazy people could buy guns and other stuff and kill people and steal and stuff. Guns and weapons are made to kill i just wish people would stop the killing!

I do believe in gun control. That is why I practice shooting with both hands... Do you prefer silver tip or hollow points?

No I dont agree. Why punish everyone for a few people screwing up. They will just use another type of weapon. What needs to happen is harsher punishment. Like the death penalty!
