Here's a site that can help you. They sell batteries and the tool to open your ipod comes with it. All for about $20-30.


Apple also has a battery replacement program for about $59 (see second and third links)

Hey i've been in your situation. It costs 60$. and before you go and do it just make sure your ipods not jammed. try playing with the buttona and make sure it not on hold. and you should get it replaced cuz ipods are soo worth it. i hoped i helped ya :-)

don't get a battery, ipods really aren't worth the money.
