We're only friends! But is it weird if I buy her a ticket for the dance? She goes to another school and she wants to go to mine.

Not at all but some schools i believe to be against you going to a homecoming dance with the same sex whether it's friends or a relationship.

Some will think it's weird. But if you want to go and enjoy the crowd and have some fun, I dont think it weird. Me and my cousin went to her Dance and that's what it's all about, having fun, chatting with friends, getting dressed up and dancing! Have fun!

Nope. Not wierd at all. She is sort of your guest, so it is ok for you to get the ticket. I have gone to dances with other girls and it is fun. In fact, I would rather dance with another girl who knows what she is doing that with a guy who destroys my feet and holds me like I am a sack of laundry. :)

no that would not be wierd. It probably would be more fun if you went with her than with a guy.... I mean you are just travelling with her to the dance and getting ready together right? it's not like you'r gonna slow dance together or anything....or are you?

Well, no, because you're friends!

Like in Sophomore yr (I go to an all-girls school) we had a formal sophomore dance (not a date dance, but ppl brought their boyfriends) and I know girls who brought their girl friends (not to be confused with girlfriends) with them just because they wanted to go....so yeah its fine!

no, it just means they want to have fun with their friends on a big day and not have to worry so much about the whole 'am i doing something wrong' bit with a bf, that prob. wont last that long anyways.

Nothing wrong with that my daughter took her best friend and her brother to her PROM and both her best friend and brother did not go to her school
