How do i get my battery icon back?

The icon is selected to always show in taskbar. My laptop is not plugged in.

Go to Start -> Control panel --> Power options. Under avance select 'show battery icon.

Sometimes if you have a lot of icons down near the clock, some of them get pushed off the bar. Click the circle with the arrow in it at the left end of the area were the icons are and it will open it up longer to show all the icons.

Select CONTROL PANEL => POWER OPTION => select the ADVANCED tab. Then under OPTIONS select ALWAYS SHOW ICON ON TASKBAR. Select APPLY and OK.
