if so did the school try to change you to being right handed because it wasn't normal.

Im a lefty as well.
My teacher's constantly tried to change my natural left hand preference for my first 4 years of schooling. It was a lost cause on their behalf :P
I still smudge my writing and can read a ruler backwards :D

My Mom is left handed, I'm left handed and my 19 yr. old daughter is left handed. I guess you can say that it runs in the family! I don't know about my Mom, but my teachers never tried to change that. Nor my daughter's. My daughter and I went to the same school in a small town in upstate New York.

I know of many lefties they tried to change. Im from the D ... not close to grand rapids... but damn them schools trying to change u. BE FREE!

I'm right handed but when I was younger I held my pen awkwardly according to teachers and other people so they tried to make me change the way I held my pen even though my handwriting was perfectly fine. My school was in Chicago, IL.

i write left handed but nope my school didnt try to change me but i can write with my right hand bc i have tried it tons of times before but im not exactly good i mean u can read it and stuff but not like a normal rightey handey person.. o ya my school is twenhofel middle school [kentucky, usa]

I am left handed. No they did not try to change me, However they did change my mom when she was in school. I also have a daughter who is left handed. Left handers rule!!
