Depends on my mood. But most of the time I prefer restaurant as hawker centre always give me those unpleasant smell at my clothing after dinning there. I hate that smell expecially in the office which is fully air-con and you keep smelling that kind of smell. Yuck!

must think of 3 things
-the occasion
-my mood, what i feel like eating
-my budget
certain foods are just nicer at the hawker centre ,but some restaurants are known for their specialty dishes so it really depends

I think it depends on the occasion.. if it is just a gregarious gathering with friends or just having a simple meal, hawker centres are fine :)
But if it is a special romantic night out.. give me somewhere with aircon, service and ambience please! ;)
