Human and healthy. You can't predict sex from a heartbeat. You can guess, and you have a fifty-fifty chance of being right. Otherwise, wait to get a peek from the ultrasound, or do like everyone used to do before we had sneak previews and with for the doctor's announcement as soon as the parts get in clear view.

Wow! I heard my babies heartbeat a few weeks ago and mine was 150 too!!!! I asked the exact same question, if I could tell if it was a boy or a girl from the heart rate, but everyone said no!! I was really hoping that the rate would give me a hint! It's so hard not knowing! Good luck with your baby and I hope you find out soon if you have a boy or a girl :)

you cant go by the heart beat, I am having a baby boy who's heartbeat is 150 and my friend is having a girl and she hers also runs 150-155 as well.

Is this in the womb or is the baby born? I think 150 is reasonable. Not sure what question you are asking? If this is a gender related question, then you cannot tell by a heartbeat..

Honey you got a 50/50 chance no matter what the heart rate is. Old wives tales are not accurrate. If they were we wouldn't need an u/s machine to determine sex.

Don't believe old wives tales. I believe the myth is that if the heartbeat is over 140 it's a girl. Well, my son was always well over 140, and well, he's a boy obviously. Old wives tales are just plain dumb.

mine is 155 and everyone is telling me that girls have higher heartbeats. but normal is 120-170 so we're kinda in the middle. it's a toss up. they say that it's not accurate tho. just like carrying high or low. it is fun to try and guess tho
