It seems no knows who Darth Bane is. Please allow me to explain. Bane started the rule of two, master and apprentice-no more, no less. He was strong to survive the force thought-bomb during the Jedi/Sith War which wiped out a lot of Jedi and Sith(pretty much all of them on the whole planet. He was truly one of the baddest and best Sith lords. Now to answer the question, While was Bane was very skilled and powerful, he lacked something that Luke had, a legacy. Luke was the offspring of the most powerful Force user, Vader. What can you say, it in his genes. Luke also had the advantage of being by two of the greatest Jedi, Yoda and Obi-Wan Kenobi. A fully trained Luke with a few years under his belt could take Darth Bane. It would not be an easy win, however.

Darth Bane is the Sith'ari, the ultimate sith. While Luke was recorded as the most powerful jedi in history, the sith are more powerful because of their usage of the dark side. Plus, because of Bane's orbalisk armor, Luke wouldn't be able to kill him with his lightsaber. I give this one to Bane.

Luke skywalker, his skills are very good. Especially the way he handles the saber, He is kind've like a mini obi-wan but i think luke is better than obi wan anyways.
