There is no state income tax in Texas. At $9.48 per hour you will pay about 15% in Federal Income Tax plus another 8% Social Security and FICA and Medicare . This also depends on how many dependents you claim. The more you claim the less they take in taxes.

pretty much all of it. Taxes practically don't exist in texas.
Same with Utah
