Introduce yourself and compliment him/her on something that you like about them. Then let them talk about themselves and really listen. People love to talk about themselves and be paid attention to. Voila! You will have a new friend.

Practice in front of a mirror, that way you can see what you look like to who ever you want to speak to.
Best thing is to be yourself, don't be fake.
If you don't at least try, you will never know.
You might be surprised just how easy it is once you try.

easy...just go up to them, and be yourself. if they like you then they will chat back. being fake with someone off the bat is a bad move, you'll never know for sure if they like YOU.
