swept, washed are simple past tense
did the mending-- not
parallel would be
mended the clothes

not a run on, nor a fragment, im sure it isnt a misplaced modifier so id say d) lack of parallelism

notice it didnt say he did the sweeping of the floor and did the washing of the dishes...
