Ok i can tell u wat NOT to do. Do NOT tell one of your friends to go and ask him, trust me it never works out! I would just get a chance to talk to him and ask him who he likes, or if he likes that other girl. Guys will usually be straight with you, but if he starts blushing and stuttering then you know he does like her.
Other than that i would be upfront and tell the truth!

To be completely honest, i don't really think that is a "good" way to find out if a boy likes you other than to just ask him. It might be possible to have a friend do it for you. That way, if he says yes, and then asks why does she want to know, she can tell him. If he says no, she can just say that she was wondering because it seemed like he was flirting with her. I've done it thousands of times and it has always worked. I've gotten several boyfriends because of this masterful plan L.O.L.

if you really don't want to ask him yourself, ask one of his friends or ask your friend to ask for you. to be honest though, the best way is to ask him yourself, that way he won't think its a joke. if one of your friends goes to him and asks if he likes you, then he might think that he is getting a joke played on him. also, make sure you get to know him really well before actually doing the deed of getting someone to ask him because you might find that you don't even like his personality, just his looks and a relationship can't be based on that

observe how he looks at you- do you ever catch him staring at you, does he smile at you when he sees you, does he make efforts to get your attention or talk to you?
