That which helps to keep just the spine erect, the rest of the body relaxed, on a back rest, feet placed utterly relaxed, allows such comforts, as to afford a person to gradually dissolve the body awareness, and remain still , very alert, a witness !
Location is not very important other than well ventilated and quiet place !

Squadge, warm, curl.
Bathroom, Kitchen.
A chair to me is somewhere to escape, it should be as beautiful as it is functional. Imagine a chair that 'snuggled' you in fluffy white towels after you'd got out the bath.
Or a big comfy 'squadge' for my friends to curl up in with a glass of wine in the kitchen while i'm making tea.
Hope they're helpful.
Wish i'd known about this site whilst I was at Art College to!!
Good luck with your project.
Let me know how it turns out, i love buying into new designers. x

A marble throne by the edge of the sea where I can sit and watch the horizon and where the sea comes in just enough to cool my feet.

soft but supportive, relaxing but energising, sleek but sturdy, all i can think of .sorry.
location -maybe on platform in tropical forest would be nice so u can look at wildlife below or elevated with gardens around you to the side and infront of you a view overlooking a lovelly beach etc in mediteranean on lovely day.
alternatively in my room would be more conventional and nice as my current seat isnt up to much!!

It would be in front of my desk and it would be like a curule chair used in the Roman Senate in ancient times, except it would have a back.

squidgy in all the right places but not so you slide off, suspended from the ceiling so it rocks gently and big enough to sleep in if the mood takes you, preferably circular in shape.
